In The Day of the Jackal (1973), the Jackal also drives a white Alfa Romeo, albeit an earlier model. Reference to Graham Norton and guests: Denzel Washington/Paul Mescal/Saoirse Ronan/Eddie Redmayne/Blossoms (2024). The story is solid, with twists that keep you engaged, and the cinematography captures the eerie atmosphere perfectly.
However, I must point out that Ms. Her performance felt very one-dimensional, which unfortunately stood out in a cast full of strong, nuanced portrayals. It’s not about race – I can think of several brilliant black actresses who could have brought more depth and complexity to the role.
It’s just that her performance didn’t match the quality of the show as a whole, which was disappointing. Still, the show is worth watching for its story and the outstanding performances. It’s definitely not perfect, but it deserves attention.
