"The End" is a captivating and unique film that is like a cross between an opera and a play by Eugene O'Neill or Arthur Miller. The performances are first-rate and keep you hooked on who and what they are. It is a family drama whose ideas resonate with our wider world and planet, as well as the human and personal ways we act to survive, strive, create, endure, protect and deceive ourselves to obscure reality and our moral responsibility for our actions. The sets and lighting are perfect. It’s a long film, over two and a half hours long, but the acting and the direction of the story kept me hooked.
