It follows a world of even deeper intrigue and trickery, as the characters fight their own battles while battling existential threats to the nation and the world. Starring Graham Norton and starring Cher/Keira Knightley/Michael Fassbender/Josh Brolin/Jalen Ngonda (2024). I have to say I was lucky enough to watch The Bureau a few years ago and honestly it’s probably one of the best things I’ve ever seen. There’s a connection between the two shows, obviously there’s been talk of it being "influenced" by it, but tbh I wasn’t expecting a similar story.
Don’t get me wrong, the show has been amazing so far, great cast, good cinematography, but this wasn’t anything I haven’t seen in the French version. It’s too early to tell what it’s going to be like, but I highly recommend anyone who hasn’t watched The Bureau to watch it. After Fassbender played a professional assassin in David Fincher’s The Hitman and I saw him in the cast, I knew right away that he was a great choice for the role.
These types of shows really require a certain amount of concentration to watch, so you can keep up with all the characters and the little details about them. Some people would find them slow-paced and even boring, but I think it’s the characters and the complex personal battles and the slow build-up of tension that makes them great. You either love these types of shows or you don’t, there’s no middle ground.
