Media researcher Muncie Daniels must fight for her innocence and her life after she stumbles upon a murder deep in the Poconos. Colman Domingo’s first starring role on TV. I enjoyed the beginning of the series, but I think the ending fell flat. It fell flat for me. The show tried to wrap up the stories in a more positive way, but struggled to find a solid ending. There are episodes that could have been cut. Watching episodes 6-7 was a chore. I especially liked the message in this very polarizing climate. I would like a second season if they can improve the writing/plotting, but if this is really just a limited series, I think they missed a point, which is why I gave it a 7. It left me wanting more, but I don’t know if it’s because this season deserves another season or because I feel bad for them and want to give them another chance.
